Every morning I've been getting up and peering bleary-eyed into the donkey paddock to see if Pearline has had her baby.  Today I was rewarded with a glimpse of a beautiful bright white spotted baby!  On inspection it is a girl and she's just perfect!  Don't be alarmed by the funky leg angle in the picture as she's still learning how to use her legs!

Also, I checked on my name and there are 24 more of "me"! I could use an extra "me" tonight because I have to be in 2 places at once.

Congratulations on your newest bundle of joy! Baby donkeys are big, huh. I mean, she's really not much smaller than her mama. Ouch.

We started getting worried when she was bigger around than she was tall!! She was HUGE!! So we thought she would either have a big baby or twins. So I think Miss Josie must be a big baby. We'll have to compare once Rosalea has her baby.

It's a girl - yay!! I don't know much about donkeys, but she DOES look rather large - but awfully cute!!
